FEATURES OF THE EVALUATION OF THE QUALITY OF LEATHER FOOTWEAR

Abstract

This article considers the issues ща the expert research of one of a kind of consumer goods of a complex assortment – leather footwear. The author draws attention to the fact that given definition is connected with a wide range of consumers’ requirements for footwear and depends on many factors. Expertise of given kind of products is conducted to determine the compliance of the quantity and quality of such products with accompanying documents and the requirements of regulatory documentation, whereas the quality index of such products, including leather footwear, is the compliance of consumer demand and of meeting of needs in the given kind of products. Permanent market saturation with footwear of foreign manufacturing affects the requirements shown by consumers to quality and assortment of products, therefore the list of requirements is wide and multivalued. Furthermore, definitions of the terms «fault» and «essential fault» are given, and an algorithm of the commodity expert research with a list of stages has been specified.
