THE FORMATION OF A GREEN ECONOMY, ITS PRINCIPLES AND OBJECTIVES

The article is devoted to the formation of a green economy, its principles and objectives. A retrospective review of the world and national literature on the formulation and clarification of the concept of “green economy” is presented. The principles of green economy formation and strategic directions of its implementation are characterized. A comparison of the concepts of “green economy”, “green growth”, and “sustainable development” is made, which allowed to highlight the distinctive features between them. The development of the green economy is considered through the prism of applying innovative solutions in certain areas of human activity on the basis of environmentally oriented activities.
