Publication conditions

Research and academic officers, posgraduate students, assistant professors, doctoral students, scientists, atendees, practitioners, students, and others, who have scientific and professional interests in legal sciences, are invited to publish their scholarly contributions.

To publish an article in"Herald Odesa Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise" No. 19/2026, it is necessary until March 31 inclusive:

▶ TIt is necessary to send an article, formatted according to the specified requirements, for peer review to herald.ondise@gmail.com.

Example of electronic file names: Ivanchuk I.I._article, Ivanchuk I.I._receipt.

Prohibition to refer to the aggressor state’s scholarly papers

It is prohibited citing and including in the reference list russian-language contributions published in any country, incl. papers written in other languages but published in russia and belarus.

Academic integrity

The Editorial Board guarantees high-quality anonymous peer-review of articles and their check for plagiarism using StrikePlagiarism.com by the Polish company Plagiat.pl.

The editorial office carries out a unanimous peer review of the articles and checks them for plagiarism; after that, the authors receive the banking details.

Publication fee

After receiving confirmation from the editorial board that the article has been accepted for publication, details for payment of the publication fee are provided.

The publication fee is UAH 800 (for 12 pages). Each extra page is charged at 40 UAH.

The publication fee covers the costs associated with review, proofreading and editing of articles, layout of the journal, and placement of its electronic version. The electronic version of the journal is timely placed in public access on the official website.

The editorial board accepts for free publication individual articles by postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs, provided that they comply with the established requirements and principles of academic integrity.
Along with the article, postgraduate students enrolled in state-funded programs must submit a certificate from the postgraduate department confirming their enrollment. The certificate must bear the signature of the head of the postgraduate department and the official seal.

If desired, the author of the article can order a printed copy of the journal.

The cost of a printed copy is 800 UAH, which is paid in addition to the publication fee.

The electronic version of the journal will be posted on the website on May 30, 2026.

The printed version of the journal will be sent to authors of articles who order a printed copy by June 30, 2026.
